About The Position

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Johnson City, Tennessee. This is a part-time, Fee for Service (W2) position with a compensation range of $61,000-$89,000 per year, based on 15-20 clinical hours per week. The role involves providing care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD, primarily focusing on adults and adolescents, with future expansion across the lifespan. Thriveworks utilizes a hybrid care model, offering telemedicine with limited in-person collaborator meetings. Requirements

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required.
  • Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state.
  • Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed and live in the state of Tennessee.
  • Part-time requires 15 - 20 hours of availability per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in-person and telemedicine capacity.
  • Willingness to treat 14 years old and up.
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed.
  • Create and collaborate with clients on care plans.
  • Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
  • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites.
  • Willing to visit a Thriveworks location for in-person collaborator meetings.
