About The Position

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. (PCM) has been in operation since 1986 and is a privately owned, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. PCM provides comprehensive medical, mental health, and dental care services to over 80 county jails, prisons, and juvenile detention centers throughout PA, MD, FL, NY, OH & NH. Correctional healthcare offers a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for medical professionals to utilize their skills and knowledge daily. It is a hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, providing care to an under-served, diverse, and appreciative patient population. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site medical care at the Rockingham County Department of Corrections in Brentwood, NH, and Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester, NH. This part-time position requires 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours (7a-3:30p/8a-4:30p). The three-day-a-week schedule will be split between the two facilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified.
• Must have two or more years' experience as a PMHNP.
• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New Hampshire.
• Maintain current DEA license.
• Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
• Maintain current Driver’s License.
