About The Position
Professional Care Medical Practices PC is a private, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice providing comprehensive medical & mental health care services in New York State. Correctional health care offers a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for medical professionals to utilize their skills and knowledge daily. It combines elements of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, serving an under-served, diverse, and appreciative patient population. This role involves providing on-site psychiatry services at the Onondaga County Correctional Facility in Jamesville, NY, and the Onondaga County Justice Center in Syracuse, NY.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health.
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
- Maintain current DEA license.
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
- Maintain current Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site psychiatry services at correctional facilities.
Benefits
- $20,000.00 Sign On Bonus
- Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience. Salary range $130,000.00 - $150,000.00
