About The Position

River Vista Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Madera, California. This role involves providing high-quality psychiatric care to adult and adolescent patients in a well-supported inpatient, IOP/PHP setting. The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for a hospital-employed role with a Monday-Friday schedule. A part-time, per-diem opportunity is also available. The caseload is diverse, covering both adult and adolescent patients. Responsibilities include regular rounding, admissions, discharges, and treatment team participation in the inpatient setting, as well as providing outpatient services in PHP and IOP programs. The hospital is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health facility opened in 2023, offering a full continuum of inpatient services for children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues, alongside robust outpatient programs.

Requirements

• Board Certified PMHNP.
• Psychiatric experience.
• Comfortable with medication management.
• CA license or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities
