About The Position
Atrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its Behavioral Health Division as an Integrated Prescriber in Quincy, Massachusetts. This is a hybrid position, with care provided both in the office and remotely from home. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and managing care plans that include prescribing, consulting with primary care providers and other medical staff about behavioral health issues, and referring patients to appropriate levels of care. Requirements
- Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts APRN license.
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate, or these credentials must be in process.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years of postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician.
- Previous experience and ability to see both pediatric and adult patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical evaluations.
- Develop and implement care plans, including prescribing and regularly evaluating and modifying plans as appropriate.
- Provide consultation to Primary Care Providers and other medical staff regarding behavioral health issues.
- Refer patients to the appropriate level of care.
