About The Position

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Colorado for a part-time, remote, Fee for Service (W2) position. Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they practice. The role involves providing care to a diverse population of clients with conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD, primarily focusing on adults and adolescents, with potential expansion across the lifespan. Thriveworks emphasizes a balanced approach to medication, including stimulants, with prescribing decisions left to the clinician's discretion. The practice does not currently treat substance use disorders and refers out when necessary for telemedicine-only providers. New hires will receive in-house training on ADHD treatment standards.

Requirements

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
  • Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed and live in the state in which they will be practicing
  • Part-time requires 15 - 20 hours of availability per week
  • 1 year of psychiatry practice is required
  • Willingness to treat 14 years old and up

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
  • Three years of experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
  • Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
  • Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
