About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team at the Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. This role involves providing mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist. The practitioner will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services within a correctional setting.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Idaho license & DEA or ability to obtain
- Minimum of one years' experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Experience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred
- Weekday shifts, days.
- Ability to work 4 ten-hour of 5 eight-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
