About The Position
River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, California is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This role is based in a well-supported inpatient, IOP/PHP setting, allowing the practitioner to focus on delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adult and adolescent patients. The position involves a Monday-Friday schedule and offers a diverse caseload within an inpatient setting, including regular rounding, admissions, discharges, and treatment team participation. Outpatient services include PHP and IOP treatment.
Requirements
- Must be Board Certified PMHNP.
- Psychiatric experience preferred.
- Comfortable with medication management.
- Must have CA license or the ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adult and adolescent patients.
- Regular rounding in an inpatient setting.
- Handling admissions and discharges.
- Participating in treatment team meetings.
- Providing PHP and IOP treatment services.
