About The Position

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be instrumental in expanding access to high-quality behavioral health services for individuals and families. You will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat mental health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe and manage medications, and collaborate with an integrated care team. The role involves building patient relationships, reducing barriers to care, and improving health outcomes, with a focus on serving diverse populations and advancing equitable access to behavioral healthcare.
Requirements
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Current, unrestricted Missouri Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with prescriptive authority (or eligible to obtain)
- Current DEA registration (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)

- Expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and evidence-based treatment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
- A collaborative approach to working within an integrated healthcare team
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- A dedication to promoting mental wellness, reducing stigma, and improving the quality of life for those we serve

Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions

- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and other members of our integrated care team
- Build meaningful relationships with patients
