As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality, transformative behavioral healthcare to patients across the lifespan. Requirements

  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification (PMHNP-BC) and unrestricted license in the State of New York
  • Active DEA registration in the State of New York
  • Candidates must reside in New York State
  • 3+ years of experience prescribing psychiatric medications as a PMHNP-BC

  • Direct clinical experience treating patients across the lifespan, including children ages 5+ preferred
  • Experience providing psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management across a broad range of behavioral health conditions via telehealth preferred
  • Strong ability to support member needs with empathy, compassion, and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic interviews to assess patient needs and determine appropriate medication management
  • Provide high-quality short and long-term psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan via telehealth
  • Collaborate and communicate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary team members as needed to support continuity of care
  • Partner closely with the care team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral healthcare support
