Laurel Heights Hospital provides residential treatment programs for children and adolescents (ages 7 and up) who present with severe and complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties that impact multiple areas of functioning. Adolescent patients reside in separate treatment units designated by age, gender, and treatment needs. This ensures that programming will meet our residents’ specific developmental needs and individualized treatment issues. Through our Discovery and Declaration Programs, Laurel Heights Hospital provides highly specialized residential treatment for boys ages 7–17 who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and who demonstrate severe behavioral difficulties and psychiatric illnesses. The role will encompass admission evaluations and assessments, managing treatment teams, overseeing discharge processes, and performing related administrative tasks. Collaboration with physicians, NPs, and support staff is essential, and care will be documented using HCS.
