About The Position

Peregrine Health is hiring an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, 100% remote clinical role. The position offers meaningful clinical autonomy within a collaborative network of behavioral health providers, primary care teams, and operational partners. Peregrine Health provides licensing, credentialing, operational, and technology support so clinicians can focus on patient care. The PMHNP provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older, develops individualized evidence-based treatment plans, prescribes and monitors psychotropic medications, and diagnoses and treats co-occurring behavioral health and substance use conditions. Care is delivered through telehealth, with collaboration across care teams and documentation in partner-site electronic health record systems. The clinician also contributes to behavioral health programs as community needs evolve.

Requirements

Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license; Texas licensure is required.
Active DEA registration.
At least three years of clinical experience.
Experience providing psychiatric medication management.
Ability to independently manage complex cases using strong clinical judgment.
Commitment to full-time practice.
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Comfort using telehealth platforms and digital clinical tools.

Clinical experience in community-based behavioral health is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with patient needs and goals.
