About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Clinical Research team in Manhattan, NY as a Clinical Rater/Sub-Investigator. This role is ideal for clinicians interested in psychiatric assessment work within a structured research environment focused on patient evaluations and study support. This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and no on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Active NP or PA license with psychiatric experience required
- Interest in clinical research and evidence-based evaluation work
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience conducting psychiatric assessments or structured clinical evaluations preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete psychiatric evaluations and administer clinical rating scales for research participants
- Assess patient eligibility for clinical trials through structured interviews and assessments
- Conduct physical exams and support medication management as appropriate
- Partner with Sponsors, research staff, and study monitors throughout active trials
- Maintain compliance with study protocols, regulatory standards, and internal procedures
- Participate in study trainings, investigator meetings, and ongoing certification activities
