RHD PIER (Pledge for Independent Empowerment & Recovery) provides a full range of mental and emotional health services in a residential setting with ten beds. Participants enjoy individualized engagement to help them develop and achieve goals to allow them to increase their independence. RHD PIER is a contracted program through Bucks County Mental Health/Developmental Programs (MH/DP) and overseen by Pennsylvania policies for Long Term Structured Residents (LTSR). The PIER program is currently the only LTSR facility exclusively serving Bucks County, PA, residents. The primary role of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to provide comprehensive oversight, coordination, and hands-on care in addressing all health-related matters affecting program participants. This includes both direct and indirect health concerns, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of individuals through proactive assessment, timely intervention, and ongoing collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, families, and external healthcare providers. The LPN plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, responsive, and supportive environment that promotes optimal health outcomes for all individuals involved in the program.
