Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Fusion Care Group is a fun and creative outpatient mental health private practice that provides individual, group, and family therapy services and medication management for a wide variety of diagnoses. We have 170+ clinicians with 20 in-person offices and a fully integrated telehealth platform. We are seeking a CA fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. The role is telehealth / hybrid, offering flexibility for both remote telehealth services and 2-3 days in-person visits at one of our San Diego offices. You will work under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist, delivering psychiatric assessments, medication management, and follow-up care to a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- CA fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Work under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and medical director.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
