Total Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide virtual care to support Texas-based mental health patients. This is a hybrid position for candidates living in the Houston and surrounding area. Requirements

1 year of experience in behavioral health
No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
PMHNP Certification or PA-C w/Psych. Certification
Texas medical board licensure/APRN
Active state license in good standing
Active Controlled Substance Registration
Team player

Comfortable around computers

Responsibilities

Make patients' day and ensure they enjoy coming to the doctor's office.
Follow all company policies and protocols.
Exercise sound medical decision-making abilities.
Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, MRIs, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies, and interpreting test results.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
Maintain timely and accurate records in EMR and adhere to all HIPAA protocols.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
