About The Position
Are you a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP ) licensed in Virginia , ready to make a meaningful impact? Iris Telehealth is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality mental health care while supporting our clinicians with the tools, community, and work-life balance they need to thrive. Iris Telehealth is seeking PMHNPs licensed in Virginia to provide care to patients in a community mental health outpatient setting for 16 hours a week . This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at one of Iris’s behavioral healthcare partners, expanding access to quality care. You'll be able to collaborate with experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology, and be supported by an experienced administrative team—so you can focus on what matters most: patient care. Setting: 100% Remote | FQHC outpatient clinic located in Virginia Schedule: Mon–Fri, 16 hrs/wk | flexible within 8am-5pm EST Patient Population: Ages 5+ with moderate acuity and diagnoses include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar, IDD, mood disorders Appointment Times : 60 min. for initial visits, 30 min. for follow-ups for children & adolescents, 20 min. for adults No On-Call Required! Requirements
- An active PMHNP-BC license in the state of Virginia is required
- Minimum of 2 years prescribing experience post PMHNP Certificate issued preferred
- Availability for 16 hours per week, with the ability to work during EST hours.
- Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+
- Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels
- PMHNP ANCC Board Certification (We do not currently offer any opportunities for PMHCNS)
- Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
