About The Position

An established outpatient behavioral health practice in Atlantic County, New Jersey is seeking a compassionate and clinically confident Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a provider who enjoys practicing evidence-based psychiatry while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and other psychiatric conditions. Located just minutes from Atlantic City, Ocean City, Margate, Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township, Northfield, and the Jersey Shore, our practice serves patients throughout South Jersey in a welcoming outpatient setting focused on innovation, compassion, and exceptional clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
  • Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
  • Active or eligible New Jersey APRN license
  • Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Strong psychiatric assessment and medication management skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach

  • Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and treatment-resistant depression
  • Interest in innovative psychiatric treatments such as TMS, Spravato, or ketamine therapy

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adult patients in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers and community resources
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in a collaborative team focused on exceptional patient outcomes
  • Care for patients receiving advanced treatment options including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® (Esketamine), IV Ketamine Therapy, Pharmacogenetic testing, and Traditional psychiatric medication management
