About The Position
A growing behavioral health practice in Illinois is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric care offering flexible scheduling options for part-time or the potential development into full-time work. The PMHNP will perform structured psychiatric evaluations, manage follow-up medication visits, and support patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions including mood disorders, substance use, and situational stressors. This role includes strong collaborating physician support and a competitive compensation package.
Requirements
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry
- Ability to manage both new evaluations and med-management visits
- Comfort treating substance use disorders a plus
- Strong communication and patient-engagement skills
- Active PMHNP certification
- Eligibility for Illinois APRN licensure
