About The Position

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join their collaborative Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). This role involves providing high-quality psychiatric care and working alongside a multidisciplinary team including therapists, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other behavioral health professionals. The position is based at the Quincy Outpatient Clinic – Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) and is a Full-Time role with daytime hours, Monday through Friday, and includes on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization.
Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Active Massachusetts RN and APRN licenses.
Current DEA registration with controlled substance prescribing authority.
Active Medicare Provider Status.
Minimum of 1–2 years of psychiatric clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health.
Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications using evidence-based practices.
Provide brief supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation.
Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate patient care.
Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (within 72 hours).
Perform crisis assessments and coordinate referrals for higher levels of care when appropriate.
