About The Position

Emplify Health (Gundersen Region) is seeking an outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team in La Crosse, WI. The practice offers a continuum of care including Child and Adolescent services, ECT, Eating Disorder Clinic, DBT, and Partial Hospitalization. The team is highly collaborative, consisting of Adult Psychiatrists, Child Psychiatrists, an Addictionologist MD, an Internal Medicine NP, PhD/PsyD’s, PMHNP’s, and Master's prepared Therapists and Counselors. Their Inpatient Behavioral Health unit is transforming mental health care for adolescents and adults, and they have opened the first EmPATH Unit in the State of WI. Requirements

Completed an accredited program.
Eligible to obtain a license to practice in their multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient psychiatric mental health services.
Work within a continuum of care that includes Child and Adolescent services, ECT, Eating Disorder Clinic, DBT, and Partial Hospitalization.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, PhD/PsyDs, therapists, and counselors.
Potentially provide outreach services as part of the role.
Teach students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff as part of the Medical Education philosophy.
