About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Decatur, Arkansas has an opening for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) within its Decatur Clinic. The PMHNP will provide patient care focused on individual differences, abnormal behavior, mental disorders, and their prevention and improvement of patient lifestyles through counseling and psychotherapeutic services. The role also involves serving as a consultant to other healthcare personnel.

Requirements

• NP Registered Nurse Practitioner – State Board of Registered Nursing required.
• Focus/Specialty - Psychiatric/mental health required.
• Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center required.
• Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work is required.
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Substance abuse and/or addiction experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
