Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-PART-TIME
About The Position
Our clinical team is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our Beacon Clinic in Evansville, Indiana. ECHO Community Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center that provides quality healthcare to all members of our community, including the insured, uninsured, under-insured and homeless. We currently employ over 150 dedicated team members who truly embrace the mission of serving and making a difference in the lives of others in a positive, supportive and collaborative environment. We serve a population of approximately 15,000 and provide various clinical and community outreach services at six full time clinics.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Advance Nurse Practice.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must pass boards within 12 months of date of hire)
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience treating patients with mental health and substance abuse issues is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides care of acute and chronic mental illness for all ages.
- Works in collaboration with the Psychiatrist and ECHO Primary care providers in managing co-morbidities and mental illness.
- Ability to integrate services and provide care coordination.
- Ability to encourage client development, participation and optimal functioning.
- Ability to foster learning, clinical expertise and research among the clinical and professional staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages and various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds to provide cultural competent care.
