About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) for flexible PRN opportunities in the Boca Raton, Florida market. This role involves providing onsite inpatient psychiatric care. It's an excellent opportunity for experienced behavioral health providers to supplement their current schedules while working with a seasoned clinical team in a collaborative, physician-led organization. Ally Psychiatry is a growing physician-owned practice dedicated to exceptional mental healthcare through collaboration, innovation, and clinical excellence, serving patients through partnerships with over 55 hospitals and nearly 20 outpatient clinics.
Requirements
- Current Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
- PMHNP board certification or relevant psychiatric PA experience
- Previous psychiatric or behavioral health experience
- Inpatient psychiatry experience strongly preferred
- Current DEA registration
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment response
- Participate in daily inpatient rounding
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and hospital teams
- Deliver evidence-based care within an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation
