About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is a nationally recognized, forward-thinking health network dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable place for the community to overcome life’s challenges. Our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, and occupational therapists work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for patients. We offer a full continuum of care in behavioral health, from emergency evaluation to intensive care, partial hospitalization, outpatient follow-up, homecare, and skilled nursing facility consultation. The Department of Psychiatry is growing and currently comprises more than 40+ Psychiatrists and 120 mental health professionals. In 2019, LVHN welcomed its first class into the Lehigh Valley Psychiatry residency.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
- A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required.
- A network champion for Psychiatry and a passion for the clinical work.
Responsibilities
- Design your ideal position from areas such as Inpatient Psychiatry, Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry, Outpatient Psychiatry, or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Provide medication management to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
- Engage in individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
- Participate in mentorship and professional development within a large healthcare organization.
