About The Position

We are seeking a part-time (PRN) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a specialized behavioral health hospital in Maumee, Ohio. This role offers schedule flexibility and competitive hourly compensation, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The practice setting includes Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) populations. The role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including admission evaluations, to adult patients, including individuals with substance use disorders. Collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), therapists, nursing staff, and support teams is essential. Daily responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment planning, medication management, and follow-up care, with accurate and efficient documentation.

Requirements

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Active or eligible Ohio license
Meets credentialing requirements for participating providers

Nice To Haves

Experience treating patients with substance use disorders preferred
Inpatient psychiatry experience highly desirable

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including admission evaluations, to adult patients, including individuals with substance use disorders
Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), therapists, nursing staff, and support teams
