About The Position
As a Charge Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients’ well-being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care by making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in an environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. The role also includes mentoring and coaching, assisting with unit schedules, establishing daily work plans for a team of employees, and scheduling staff for mandatory education. You will follow the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, including systematic collection and analysis of healthcare consumer data across psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. The position is at CHI Health Good Samaritan, a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Nebraska, with inpatient and outpatient mental health services at its Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
Requirements
- Graduate of a registered nursing program, upon hire.
- Registered Nurse license in Nebraska, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (CPR), upon hire.
Responsibilities
