Davis Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking Psych Tech candidates to join the clinical teams at the Crisis Recovery Unit (CRU) and the Davis County Receiving Center (RC). The CRU is an adult residential mental health facility, and the RC is a 23-72 hour alternative to inpatient hospitalization or incarceration specializing in short-term crisis resolution. Psych Techs are front-line support staff who work directly with clients experiencing behavioral health crises. They engage with clients individually, manage the milieu, attend to client needs, provide supervision, de-escalate crisis situations, coordinate with other service providers, and maintain a positive recovery environment. Active engagement with clients is a minimum expectation for Psych Techs in all programs at DBH.
