The Crisis Center Psychiatric Technician, under the direction/supervision of licensed nursing staff, provides nursing delegated/assigned services to patients with mental illness in the Crisis Center, which includes an involuntary extended observation unit and a voluntary crisis residential unit. This role supports individuals with mental illness, co-occurring substance use/abuse diagnoses, and those with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and intellectual or developmental disability. Key duties involve maintaining a safe and secure environment, supporting nursing staff and the clinical treatment team, preparing food for patients, and performing housekeeping duties within the Crisis Center. The position requires availability for overnight shifts (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) as needed for facility operational coverage and adherence to compliance policies. A shift differential is provided for evening/night work.
