About The Position

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Psych Registered Nurse for their Adult II Program, specializing in Geriatrics. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will communicate effectively with the healthcare team, collaborate on patient goals, and evaluate progress. The position emphasizes professional growth and adherence to Board of Nursing standards. The unit is a 16-bed facility with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, caring for adult patients aged 55+ and those under 55 with geriatric lifestyles, including diagnoses such as dementia (Alzheimer's and Lewy Body Dementia).

Requirements

Graduate of an approved discipline program
1 year RN experience
Active RN license

Responsibilities
