About The Position

At Pfizer, quality is at the heart of everything we do. The Pharmaceutical Sciences Operational Quality Strategic Compliance Team maintains and advances the Pharmaceutical Sciences Quality Management System through governance, risk management, process ownership, training, digital transformation, inspection readiness and continuous improvement. This unique rotational secondment offers an exceptional development opportunity for a PharmSci colleague to gain experience across multiple strategic compliance disciplines while building an enterprise view of how quality systems support the development and delivery of breakthrough medicines. The successful candidate will complete structured rotations across key functional areas within the Strategic Compliance Team.

Requirements

Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 1+ year of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working within a regulated environment.
Experience with quality systems, compliance, GMP, GDP or GxP activities.
Knowledge of investigation, CAPA, change management, training, documentation or risk management processes.
Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyse data, solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
Curiosity, learning agility and a passion for continuous improvement.
Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Experience using digital quality or enterprise systems.
Interest in quality transformation, process excellence and organisational learning.
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Responsibilities

Work with colleagues supporting Quality Management Reviews (QMRs), quality planning, quality culture, risk tolerance, Quality Integrations, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Support risk assessments, risk registers, risk governance activities and facilitation of data-driven quality decision making.
Gain experience in deviation, investigation, management notification, CAPA and change management processes, including performance monitoring and trending.
Contribute to document lifecycle management, records management, procedural governance and knowledge management activities supporting inspection readiness.
Support deployment of QDocs to PharmSci.
Support training compliance programmes, procedural training deployment and organisational learning initiatives that strengthen quality culture and colleague readiness.
Develop understanding of validation lifecycle management, qualification programmes, digital quality tools and transformational initiatives supporting the future state quality system.
Develop an understanding of Internal Audit Requirements and support inspection readiness and audit preparation.
Complete rotational assignments across Strategic Compliance functional areas.
Partner with Local Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts and PharmSci business stakeholders to support quality system execution and improvement.
Assist with data analysis, Trending and performance monitoring activities.
Support implementation of strategic initiatives, including quality system transformation and digital innovation projects.
Participate in inspections, audits, governance forums and continuous improvement activities as appropriate.
Deliver stretch projects that provide measurable business value and improve quality system effectiveness.
Build knowledge of enterprise quality processes, governance frameworks and compliance requirements across Pharmaceutical Sciences.
