About The Position

The Provider Training and Development Specialist is responsible for the coordination, execution, and evaluation of provider trainings and training materials. This role involves assisting in the design, development, and facilitation of trainings for CBH providers, conducting needs assessments to identify training deficits, and delivering pre- and post-training evaluations. The specialist will utilize creative and adaptive teaching techniques for adult learning, such as e-learning, web-based virtual trainings, and workshops, and will be responsible for preparing clear, well-written training materials.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Two years of professional experience in training and adult education.
  • Proven experience in facilitating and developing content for training programs.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where independence and adaptability are required.
  • High professional standards for customer service.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, as needed.
  • Excellent public speaking, group facilitation, and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in use of web-based meeting and webinar platforms, such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to partner with subject matter experts on training needs and platforms for training delivery.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire.
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
