About The Position

Job Description Title: Provider Support Specialist Program: CCR&R FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Worksite: TBD Classification: Full-time Reports to: Supervisor Position Summary: Provide technical assistance and support to providers in relation to processing payments.

  • Work collaboratively.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from accredited college or university in communications, statistics, business, public relations, human relations, technology, or a related field.
  • Successfully clearing the background check process, which may include: criminal background check, education verification, references, drug testing, motor vehicle records, sex offender registry, Child Protective Services check, and federal grants debarred list.
  • Adhere to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Code of Ethics.

  • Experience in data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Process provider payments.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to supporting providers in the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) region.
  • Participate in ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
  • Train or provide technical assistance to providers on the payment process and enrollment/orientation to the child care system.
  • Compile and submit reports within established timelines.
  • Respond to any inquiries within a timely manner.
  • Participate in all required committees, conferences, meetings and training relevant to the program and/or agency.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
