About The Position

This is a casual, non-exempt position in the Clinic department. The role involves supporting providers by rooming patients, assisting with procedures and treatments, administering injections, handling phone communication, educating patients, taking vital signs, documenting in charts, participating in quality improvement initiatives, rooming prenatal visits, and managing supplies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Good time management skills
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR

• Previous clinic nursing experience
