About The Position

This position is in the Clinic department and involves providing support to healthcare providers. The role requires 72 hours of work per pay period and is classified as Non-Exempt. The primary duties include rooming patients, assisting providers with procedures and treatments, administering injections, handling phone communications, educating patients, taking vital signs, documenting in charts, participating in quality improvement initiatives, rooming prenatal visits, and managing supplies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Good time management skills
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
