Provider Relations Coordinator, Sutter Health Network
About The Position
Develops and maintains supportive and educational relationships between assigned clients, the clients’ contracted physician networks, and Sutter Health. Through regularly scheduled visits to physicians’ offices, identifies and resolves issues related to contracting or claims and coordinates solutions with appropriate Sutter Health departments. Provides education through workshops and in-service meetings to clients and staff. Leads and assists in developing provider network communications related to industry changes and network initiatives, and serves as an information resource to clients, Sutter Health, and administrative staff to support quality customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a health care-related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
- Two years of recent relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients’ physicians, staff, and health care business executives.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational and administrative skills, including advanced knowledge of personal computer usage.
- Ability to problem-solve and report results professionally.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail with minimal supervision.
- Ability to conduct presentations and instructional workshops for individuals and groups.
Responsibilities
