About The Position

The Provider Relations Assistant supports the coordination and day-to-day communication between healthcare providers and internal departments. In this fully remote role, you will help manage provider schedules, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries to keep operations running efficiently. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), with a starting pay of $19/hour. This position is not considering candidates from New York City, Chicago, California, Colorado, or Washington states at this time. The Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies and delivers professional and objective medical and psychological examinations as well as ancillary services. The Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers and includes behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services, working with a wide range of organizations within the workers' compensation, disability, liability, and auto markets. The Clinical Research Division performs all types of Phase II-IV clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas through a flexible nationwide network of site locations and virtual capabilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical role

Nice To Haves

  • Scheduling or provider relations experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update provider schedules, including audits, changes, cancellations, and weekly distribution
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for providers via phone and email, resolving questions in a timely manner
  • Accurately record provider hours in internal systems such as WATS and payroll platforms
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for providers when applicable
  • Monitor and respond to the provider relations inbox to ensure consistent communication
  • Support the creation and rollout of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) across teams
  • Assist the Scheduling Operations Manager with ongoing projects and general administrative support, including occasional overtime
