About The Position

The Provider Relations Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between Saint Francis and its subcontractors/providers of service to clients. This role involves managing contracts with identified providers and ensuring the smooth operation of service delivery to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Services field with three years of child welfare experience.
  • Three years child welfare direct service experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a drug screen, MVR, Criminal History and DFPS History Check, Centralized Background Check Unit Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility and any background checks deemed to be necessary.
  • FBI Fingerprint Check.
  • Lifting requirement of 30 – 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Mandated reporter.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiar with levels of care in the State of Texas.
  • Must have understandings of genograms, ecograms, and social histories.
  • Must understand child welfare and state system.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Display strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Handles multiple priorities.
  • Independent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with sub-contractors.
  • Ensure monthly reporting from subcontractors is complete.
  • Respond to consumer complaints concerning subcontractors/providers.
  • Review client information in subcontractor files to assure compliance standards are met.
  • Conduct site visits with subcontractors to ensure clients receive the best possible services during out-of-home placement.
  • Collaborate with the Saint Francis legal department to facilitate contract issuance to subcontractors/providers.
  • Contract with identified providers.
  • Provide orientation and training sessions to providers regarding policy and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between subcontractors/providers and Saint Francis Reintegration programs.
  • Offer troubleshooting, feedback, and communicate all new policies and procedures to subcontractors/providers.
  • Provide backup administrative support to maintain the high functioning of the program.
  • Implement Saint Francis Ministries policies and follow directives as required.
  • Follow and adhere to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
  • Report unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Ensure clients’ rights are protected.
  • Be knowledgeable of and follow all safety procedures.
