About The Position
Hot Springs Health Program is hiring full- and part-time physicians to provide outpatient care in the greater Madison County area of North Carolina, north of Asheville. The organization is an FQHC look-alike with four locations in Mars Hill, Marshall, Hot Springs, and Laurel. Its physician team includes family physicians, internists, and pediatricians, working alongside nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The role does not include obstetrics or hospital coverage. Providers may have the opportunity to provide nursing-home and/or hospice care if interested. The organization uses Epic EHR, with an on-site pharmacy at each location and in-house laboratory and X-ray services. The sites qualify for National Health Service Corps, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and High Needs Service Bonus programs. Hot Springs Health Program provides medical and pharmacy services, as well as outpatient physical therapy, home health care, hospice services, local nursing-home care, and student health services at Mars Hill University.
