Requirements

Excellent data entry skills on web-based applications
A strong attention for detail
Good oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze and interpret processing problems related to providers
Team player who is results oriented
Basic PC skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Multi-tasked oriented
Ability to provide excellent customer service
High School graduate or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Preferred medical or dental claims processing experience
Preferred completion of a Medical Terminology Course

Responsibilities

Revise and add provider records to the claims processing system (Amisys)
Enroll providers for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
Research and resolve NPI billing errors
Handle W-9 and 1099 forms for providers
Resolve daily data integrity reports
Take inbound provider calls
Work with the zip code maintenance files
