About The Position

The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is seeking a provider engagement specialist to engage its existing network of NYC healthcare providers and providers in other jurisdictions who may treat patients who have used emerging substances of public health concern. The specialist will synthesize findings and draft a recommendations report on communicating about emerging substances to New York City healthcare providers, with the ultimate goal of improving care for people who use drugs. This is a temporary position ending August 31, 2026, with some flexibility in hours and duration. The New York City Health Department identifies novel substances of public health concern through the New York City drug checking program.
