Provider Contract Administration Analyst

About The Position

The Provider Contract Administration Analyst is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall management of the MediTract system, focusing on modules such as Contract Library and Process Manager, and potentially Vendor Evaluation Form (VEF), Time and Effort Record Management Services (TERMS), and Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement (COIDS). This role also serves as the primary point of contact and coordination with MediTract within TriHealth to manage system changes, product enhancements, or additions that impact operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office platform
  • Technical expertise within a provider contracting database system such as MediTract or Legal Files
  • 5-7 years of experience in Professional Healthcare

Responsibilities

  • Acts as coordinator and subject matter expert for the health system’s physician contract management office (PCMO) program and related administrative activities, including contract protocol, common terms of business agreements, provider employment agreements, insurance provisions and requirements, healthcare contract compliance, physician/provider evaluation requirements, physician contracting regulatory requirements, and records retention requirements.
  • Configures modules to meet client needs, ensuring standardization across modules for uniformity of database components and indexes (e.g., department names, contract types by specialty, site designations, internal organizational structure). Ensures consistent configuration across modules to facilitate end-user experience and reliable system reporting.
  • Coordinates directly with MediTract on design changes, field naming schemes, system alerts and notifications modifications, and schedule adjustments (reporting, system alerts, etc.).
  • Acts as an internal consultant and expert to support organizational leadership in understanding the functional benefits of the MediTract system and selecting staff as system users.
  • Consults on special data needs and process improvements related to contract management workflow, contracting compliance, physician time and effort record keeping, and vendor evaluations as required by accrediting entities.
  • Acts as an internal product expert/consultant to further understanding of the functional benefits of the MediTract system and how to select users, and on special data needs and process improvements through software application related to workflow, compliance, and legal arenas.
  • Establishes and maintains best practice standards for interpreting contract components, loading and cataloging contracts and support documents into the database.
  • Provides user management, support, and training. Maintains a method for adding and removing authorized users and develops and maintains user records.
  • Provides adequate training to all designated users, all levels, and all modules through multiple means.
  • Provides management/leadership support and assists users in the development of custom reports.
  • Monitors expired contracts to ensure turnaround timelines are met, preventing operations without appropriately completed and executed agreements.
