About The Position

Support the Prototype Lab in daily activities with the assembly of prototype (sales and engineering) seats and general mock-ups using aluminum, steel, wood and foam…etc. Technician II will operate machines to create/modify prototype parts/assemble.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Requires 4-7 years of relevant work experience
Creative mind set to help develop new concepts
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Open minded, willing to learn, and must be okay with constant change.
Good attendance record

Responsibilities

Assist Prototype, Sales, and CDR Seats in developing new seats and/or parts.
Build proto-type or mock-ups with aluminium, steel, wood, foam board
Operate one or more of the following machine 3-Axis Mill, Lathe or 3D printer.
Operate all the Prototyping lab supporting machinery including vertical saw, shear, chop saw…etc.
Assemble and reassemble development test seats.
Ballast Dynamic test seats
Operating Forklift
Understand blueprint drawings and tolerances
Must be able to work well with hand tools (files, sanding, painting, wrenches, air tools, etc.)
Maintain clean organized working environment, ensuring that accountability for tooling and material is maintained.
Assist in new design projects providing necessary support to meet completion dates.
