Evaluates drawing specifications to determine the work to be performed. Programs, sets up, and operates all machine tools within the MTO department. Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing machine controls to manipulate machine functions to produce quality products. Verifies conformance of finished instruments/devices to customer specifications. Demonstrates a strong understanding of machine tooling. Calculates and sets machining factors such as RPM, feed rate, coolant flow, and depth of cut. Records inspected dimensions, completes all documentation of work performed, and accurately records time through Visual Labor tickets. Inspects parts and documents results of inspections on in-process inspection plans. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Performs required periodic maintenance on CNC equipment. Adheres to company safety requirements. Assures that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
