About The Position

The Protestant Worship Music Director will lead and direct weekly rehearsals and worship services, including special events. This role involves providing vocal leadership, guiding the congregation in worship, and selecting and arranging music in coordination with the Chaplain. The Music Director will also deliver opening remarks and prayers aligned with Protestant traditions and prepare music scores, arrangements, and audio/visual lyrics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of college-level education in music or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of experience leading worship teams or bands in a church setting
• Strong vocal ability and experience leading congregational worship
• Proficiency in sight-reading, arranging, and performing music
• Ability to lead a contemporary Protestant praise team
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
