If you’re looking for a rewarding career with a company that values growth and innovation, we encourage you to apply. We are seeking a Proteomics Mass Spectrometrist to support advanced protein and peptide characterization using high-resolution LC-MS/MS. This role focuses on proteomic workflows, including peptide mapping, post-translational modification (PTM) analysis, and method development to enable in-depth molecular characterization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in proteomics, mass spectrometry-based protein analysis, and fragmentation techniques in a laboratory setting.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS in proteomics, including peptide mapping and PTM analysis
  • Experience with fragmentation techniques such as CID, HCD, and ETD
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • BS (5–8 years), MS (3–6 years), or PhD (0–2 years) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Proteomics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LC-MS/MS method development and optimization for proteomics applications
  • Familiarity with proteomics software (e.g., Proteome Discoverer, MaxQuant, or similar tools)
  • Experience working in GMP or regulated laboratory environments
  • Knowledge of LIMS or other laboratory data management systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and execute LC-MS/MS workflows for proteomic analysis, including peptide mapping and protein characterization
  • Perform identification and localization of post-translational modifications (PTMs) using high-resolution MS and MS/MS techniques
  • Apply advanced fragmentation methods (CID, HCD, ETD) to enable confident peptide sequencing and modification site assignment
  • Optimize protein digestion and sample preparation workflows to improve sequence coverage and detection of low-abundance peptides
  • Analyze and interpret complex proteomics datasets using industry-standard bioinformatics and data analysis tools
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of proteomics methods and workflows to support broader analytical initiatives
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and data interpretations in accordance with industry and regulatory standards
  • Communicate scientific findings clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
