This is an Armed Security Officer part-time position for an educational building physical security in Oakwood Virginia. The Protective Service Officer will assist in the protection of college facilities, property, employees, and facility guests.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Have a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess high school diploma from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent certificate
- Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English.
- Two years of Armed security experience within the past five years; or Two years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience
- Pass the drug test, and physical agility test if applicable.
- Completed the required training; and pass the required examination(s).
- Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations?
