Requirements

Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent technical training.
2+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or electric motor systems.
Familiarity with propulsion motors (AC/DC, brushless, or PM motors) and drive systems.
Knowledge of high-voltage safety practices and ESD procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and technical specifications.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA.

Nice To Haves

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
Experience with electric aircraft, drones, or eVTOL systems.
Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace quality standards.
Experience with propulsion system instrumentation and data logging tools.

Responsibilities

Assemble, disassemble, and inspect propulsion motors and related components.
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
Conduct functional and performance tests using specialized test equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
Document work performed in compliance with company and FAA standards.
Maintain clean and safe work environments in accordance with ESD, FAA, and company policies.
Support prototype builds, system integration, and flight testing preparation as needed.
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback from hands-on experience.
