About The Position

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Propulsion Systems Design Engineer 2 to join its Vulcan Centaur development team. The role provides design, systems integration, subcontract management, and technical product support for Centaur V propulsion fluid systems, including cryogenic and non-cryogenic fluids, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The engineer develops subsystem and component designs and requirements, supports system-level integration and trade studies, and creates engineering drawings and assembly and testing requirements. The role also involves direct support for suppliers, the factory, and launch site; reviewing as-built product configurations and test data; and developing design improvements to reduce cost and risk or improve vehicle performance. The position is based at ULA in Denver, with 10% travel and relocation potentially available.
