About The Position

FALCATA is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to support its work at the NRL. This multidisciplinary engineering role focuses on developing, analyzing, testing, and evaluating novel fluidic systems for propulsion applications, as well as innovative applications of existing propulsion technologies. The engineer will contribute throughout the engineering lifecycle, from analytical modeling and conceptual design through prototype testing and system validation. The role includes supporting the development of novel chemical release systems using solid energetics, performing modeling and simulation, and designing, fabricating, or procuring ground support equipment. The position also involves documenting requirements, design decisions, test procedures, and results, and preparing and reviewing technical reports and program materials. FALCATA offers a stable work environment, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background check, security investigation, and drug screening. FALCATA is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
